He watched her, but never knew her. Until thanks to a chance encounter, he became her savior…
The attraction between them was undeniable. Yet the past he’d worked so hard to overcome, and the future she’d put so much faith in, threatened to tear them apart.
Only together could they fight the pain and guilt, face the truth—and find the unexpected power of love.
A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl’s struggle to regain the trust she’s lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy.
It took me a while, but I finally read the book that I thought was going to go up against Stars & Stripes in the DABWAHA finals (I’d already read Julie James’ book and loved it).
And it was GREAT! I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you guys check this book out, even if you don’t ordinarily read m/f romance. One caveat: if you are triggered by non-graphic sexual assault (not by the hero or any otherwise decent human being), be forewarned. But if you like a good romance, great characters, and a great plot with minimal romantic angst, but plenty of heartbreaking situations, READ THIS BOOK!
if my future husband doesn’t have a reaction like this i’m walking right back out and saying “alright let’s try this again”
“You know when the bride makes her entrance and everybody turns to look at her? That’s when I look at the groom. Cause his face says it all you know, there’s pure love there.
I like to glance back at the poor guy getting married. Cause even though I think he’s an idiot for willingly entering into the last legal form of slavery, he always looks really, really happy”
